WE USE A SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE 3-STEP PROCESS

CLEAN & TREAT
The first step in this process is to remove any surface dirt from the Wooden Structure using our proprietary STAIN-ALL cleaning system. Next, we saturate the wooden structure with our cleaning agent to penetrate the wood cells and ensure all embedded mold and mildew will be eradicated from the structure. The wood will begin to cure while removing all diseased tannin's from deep within wood cells. The color of the structure will dramatically lighten to it's original wood appearance.
Next we rinse away the cleaning agent from the wooden structure and it is allowed to dry, normally 2-3 days depending on the Sun's exposure. During this process the wooden structure will lighten beyond the original color, No need to worry, this is part of the curing process, extracting all of the diseased tannin's, this process continues until the moisture level in the wooden structure is below 13%.
STAIN
Lastly we verify the level of moisture in the wooden structure utilizing a
Electronic probe, this is crucial a step in insuring the stain will penetrate effectively
to protect from deep inside the wood cells. Then we apply the American Made- Standard Paints paraffin and natural oil based stain "Wood Defender", replacing the natural oils with iron oxide pigments to enhance the color and
prohibit growth of mold and mildew, protecting the wooden structure from
the ravishes of time in the harsh Chicago elements.

Stain-All specializes in Cleaning, Treating & Staining Exterior Wooden Structures. All of our technicians are trained and certified by Standard Paints in Mansfield, TX. Stain-All uses American Made- Standard Paints Wood Defender, a paraffin based natural oil Stain that penetrates the wood at a cellular level.
Most Stains available thru Local Retailer's and Big Box Stores are actually water based, even if the they say on the label "oil based". Marketing laws allow for this type of labeling, as long as they have less than 1% of oil in the mix. Even when compared to actual oil based stains, "Wood Defender" beats them all hands down and we back that up with our 2 & 3 year warranty.
